Huh.

BBC2's broadcasting the Super Bowl live.

Why?

Nothing against American Football in this case, it's just that I always thought the Real Meaning of the Super Bowl was the half-time ads.

That's pretty much all I watch it for.

..even though I'm currently watching Dragonball Z and writing my book and not at all watching the Super Bowl.

Pretty much the ads, yes, but this year you could also entertain yourself by imagining the opposing quarterbacks in bed with each other. (Or, imaging one of the quarterbacks in bed with his older brother, who is also a quarterback.)

I blame you. I never used to have half as many "does that incest work?" thoughts before I met you.

See, I had no favorite in this game as my home team was out, so I cheer for the team that has the cuter quarterback. And in this case, Eli Manning had that sort of awkwardly cute, less-famous-younger-sibling appeal that lowers my defenses. Plus, he wore a hat.

Since the Giants won, I assume Eli is the bright-eyed protagonist of this scenario, and thus is doomed to take it up the ass from his older brother and/or Tom Brady as the embittered opponent. Victory, but at what cost.
