SO!

Nearly two years ago now I promised a bunch of people a bunch of drabbles.

I have actually finally gotten around to doing two of 'em.



I think three people in total asked for a Zax/Aerith piece. This is what I eventually came up with.

I've always wondered why the heck Cloud, who going by original canon is running around in Zack's spare uniform, only has one pauldron when Zack wore two. My personal theory is now that Zack left one behind at Aerith's one day and she eventually put it to good use.



I wanted to draw drapery. And so.

Sebastian is [info]twigcollins's. I don't know why I continue to stick a half-Japanese, half-English character in pseudo-Chinese clothing.

The Zack/Aeris is absolutely awesome. I can't even begin to say how awesome it is. It is so poignant.

Also, I'm going to special author hell for pretty much every Mary-Sue fangirl cliche abomination I have done in K&P but I don't care because Sebastian looks SO GREAT. Gah he is so cute. I am so happy. Thank you thank you thank you.

Oh man, if that isn't the world's biggest challenge.

At the moment, until I actually get back to the damn K&P rewrites, you can consider his character to be pure anti-Milale.

That's really a very good description.

It also leads me to the conclusion that this means that at some point Ciera's going to build a Robo-Sebby in an attempt to take Mil down.

I was all set to laugh at you for drawing Zack/Aeris, and then I actually clicked the cut and was kind of heartbroken and touched instead. You make me feel feelings! Dastardly of you!

Also, God, Sebby-chan is so much pure concentrated cute we could use him to engender world peace, or something like that. Same theory as a baby panda; people can't get up o too much crap if they're too busy standing there and staring in adoration and childlike wonder. And the robes are so awesome. The brush strokes make them look like silk.

That is awesome. Both are awesome! And I think I'm stealing your pauldron theory for my personal canon. It would fit in so well with the rest of the slums. Something abandoned and forgotten but made into something new (if still previously used).

Sebastian is totally cute and I love his expression so much, but my eyes keep getting drawn back to -- OKAY, wait, I have no idea what Sebastian's story is, so I'm not sure if the taller person is Sebastian's caretaker-person, or if the taller person is actually Sebastian grown up. Either way, I really love the skin tone on the taller one, and oh man, the hair is so gorgeous. And the expression and the slightly thick eyebrows! And I totally agree with Thorne about the brush strokes on the robes. (Plus the shading! There is some awesome shading going on there.)

This would be a regular Sebastian plus chibi Sebastian because I wasn't quite sure on which version Twig actually wanted so I threw both in.
