"But God doesn't always have the best goddamn plans, does he?"
So, man, World Ends with You.

I actually finished it last Sunday but it took me until yesterday to finish off all the extra content in the replay.

And then I started to do fan-art, mostly to distract myself from the fact that I had run out of game.

This one is, more or less, a love-letter to the game mechanics. There's just something so immensely glee-inducing about equipping your main character in EGL drag and sending him off to telekinetically hurl mopeds at a giant evil elephant.

I could have also equipped him in pirate gear and had him attack with flying squirrels, WEWY is nothing if not accommodating to your personal preferences.

Aaaaaaaaaaand the obligatory chibi, to fill the quota.

I love the chunky distressed lines you're using. I usually think of your work as more delicate. I'm not familiar with the game, so I don't know how much of this is game style or yours.

And I can only DREAM of dressing in drag and telekinetically hurling mopeds at my enemies.

<3

It's a bit 50/50 - the game's art style is heavily based on graffiti and to fit with that I reverted back to an art style I used to use when I was a teenager. Big heavy lines were my first love but I eventually gave up using them because it's a struggle to keep them from making everything look very static.

It's on the list.

The one issue I should probably mention is that the game only allows you one save per cartridge (the sole reason my copy isn't already in the mail to someone as per usual) so it won't share easily between you and Luns.

All my friends are playing it, it's on my list too. ...they're forcing me to cosplay for it, too <.<

Mwa ha ha ha ha ha!

Look on the bright side, at least the hairstyles are saner than usual?

heh, they want me to be, uh, ...Beat? Rhyme's brother. So really, it doesn't matter what my hair looks like because I have a GIANT BEANIE.

Awww.

Beat is love. It helps that for once the English-language voice actors for this game are fantastic, his especially.

The (tiny) girl who'll be Rhyme sat me down and showed me the manual and explained all the characters and basically just talked me into it, really!

We're looking to cosplay this at the Tokyo Game Show this year, and we'll definitely be going into Shibuya (I think that's the district where it's set? Maybe I mean Shinjuku) to take photos.

Shibuya's for posers, Harajuku baby!

(It's on my list too, but I doubt I'll ever get past my dark mistress, Persona 3.)

Heh!

Persona 3's actually on my own list but with me the console games are increasingly losing out to the portables, mostly because I can't play the console games during lunch break at work.

God, if you want to bother playing it, be prepared to set aside a ridiculous amount of time.

Aw crap.

That's becoming something of a deal-breaker. I haven't finished Suikoden V yet because I don't have the time any more to attend to the needs of a 100-plus characters.

Also, I should probably finish Digital Devil Saga 2 as well first.

Blaaaaaaargh.

FFTactics is also on hold right now, entirely because I'm not currently in the mood to play something that depressing.

On the up-side I'm importing Professor Layton and the Curious Village from the States. Hopefully it should arrive soon.

...I need to find this game, don't I?

...but only after I finish Okami. And watch G-cat finish off a certain game that I shouldn't name.

Anywho, yay art! I can't think of any specifics, this time, but just that I like it.

Yes, yes you do.

And watch G-cat finish off a certain game that I shouldn't name.

Oooh, mysterious.
